Method before marketing

What we know. What we infer. What still needs proof.

Reasoning diagnosis is useful only when uncertainty remains visible. This page separates published evidence, product hypotheses, and the boundaries of the current prototype.

Operating principles
Evidence-backed

Assisted performance is not the same as learning.

A guarded tutor can improve performance while the tool is present without producing a positive unaided-exam effect. MySquire therefore treats delayed, unaided transfer as the intended outcome—not chat completion.

Evidence-backed

A wrong step does not uniquely identify its cause.

The same mathematical trace can reflect a misconception, a forgotten condition, notation trouble, or a simple lapse. A credible system must maintain alternatives, probe, and abstain.

Hypothesis

The strongest moment is immediately after a mock.

The cost of the error is visible, the original attempt is recent, and faculty need to decide what to reteach. Paid partner discovery must still confirm that this is a high-priority workflow.

Prototype

The first system is narrow by design.

The website demonstrates one algebra scenario. It does not claim arbitrary handwriting recognition, full JEE coverage, autonomous grading, or production efficacy.

Product boundary
Observable is not internal

Check the mathematics. Stay humble about the mind.

MySquire is designed to make bounded claims about supported work and to test possible causes—not convert a probabilistic signal into a permanent learner label.

What can be checked

  • Whether a supported transition preserves the solution set
  • Where a domain condition or branch was lost
  • Whether a fresh response supports one hypothesis over another

What remains uncertain

  • The learner's internal belief from one attempt
  • Whether one successful near-transfer item proves durable mastery
  • Whether the workflow improves outcomes at coaching scale

Claims should lead back to something inspectable.

These sources inform the product thesis. None independently proves that MySquire works; that requires its own paid pilots and controlled outcome studies.
